Who do you like more: Billie Holiday or Dinah Washington?
Billie Holiday or Dinah Washington?
Some may consider this issue and say there is no comparison but I do not feel the two women can be compared.
Billie Holiday provides a lot of admiration for her delivery still a narrow range but Dinah Washington had a voice so sensual.
What do you think?
Dinah Washington was a great singer with perfect pitch, but Billie Holiday was incomparable.

Dee Dee's making music with her voice
Dee Dee Bridgewater says: “Coming to South Africa is a huge, huge highlight for me.”
She comes from a musical family on her father’s side. He was a trumpeter in the big band that often accompanied Dinah Washington.
“I’m not sure what I’m going to sing in South Africa, but for sure a lot of the Billie Holiday repertoire.”
This refers to her Grammy winning CD titled Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie with Love from Dee Dee Bridgewater, which is a tribute to the great Holiday. I congratulated her on the Grammy.
“The Grammy was really the icing on the cake and a wonderful, wonderful affirmation for what I have done.
“Oddly enough the album should never have seen the light of day, it was not due for commercial release. It was to be a part of a bigger project I was trying to put together at the time I recorded the album. It was to re-do the play about Billie Holiday that I called Lady Day. These songs are part of the repertoire of that play. Unfortunately the funding fell out and that was that.”

I would like to sincerely get this tattooed on my taste (upside down so I can conclude When I look down) as comparable to that right when you think life has hit that lull shitiness average something or someone cultures of nowhere (or benefit from in front of you) make a wonderful and needed shade much of the innocent and authenticity in your mid-term. and makes you happier than you rationality thinkable.
