Here is a place that is reputable and sells them. The purchase of such an instrument as an unknown source such as eBay, is not recommended. There are a dealer * * that often loads up dozens and dozens of flutes high0end on eBay - it step through the United States - stay away.

Jeff Smith is reputable - and it would b very fair deals. If you attend a convention of flute (The National in August in New York), sometimes you can make an on-site face of money - but that is a one-off.

Dec 25, 2011 (The Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Jim Rogers, owner of Jim's Instrument Manufacturing in Iowa City, is known for his ability to visualize an intricate medical instrument and all of its parts before he begins designing and manufacturing it. The U.S. Navy veteran, who has never had any formal training, left the service in 1960 and went to work for the UI Physical Plant.
"Four years later, I went over to the UI Medical Instrument Shop in the med lab," Rogers said. "I stayed there until 1972 when I got tired of the politics."
For the next 14 years, Rogers manufactured medical instruments in the basement of his home, literally developing a homegrown businesss. With the help of doctors throughout the world, Rogers designed, developed, and manufactured many eye instruments used in research and eye surgery.
