is the pan flute or piccolo
I saw both made of bamboo and wood.

If the land is extremely high, then it is probably a piccolo
if this is not really high, then I would say that the pan flute.

Father killed by stepson

ALOR SETAR: A 58-year-old serunai (flute) maker died after he was stabbed in the chest by his stepson during a fight at Kampung Kuala Tebengau near Kuala Kedah here.

Ismail Ahmad died at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital intensive care unit about two hours after the incident.

Kota Setar OCPD Assistant Comm Adzaman Mohd Jan said investigations showed that the man had attacked his stepson, 30, with a piece of wood at 7.45pm on Saturday.

“There was a scuffle which led to Ismail being stabbed with a knife. The suspect surrendered to the police at 10.10pm.

“We have classified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code. He has also been remanded pending investigations,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The suspect's friend Mohd Jamil Ahmad, 27, said he was repairing another friend's car when Ismail rushed into the house compound and started fighting with his stepson.

“I do not know the reason for the fight but I tried to stop them. Everything happened so fast and I only realised that the man had been stabbed when I saw blood on his shirt.
