What is the best way to keep/store DVDs and CDs in the following adverse conditions?
I live in Japan, and between winter and summer, there are about a 20-25 degree swing in temperature, and about 50% -65% humidity swing. The way Japanese houses are built, there is no way to have a temperature and humidity controlled room throughout the year. Also, no central air. Can anyone recommend a good way for me to store my DVD collection so they can keep for over 10 years? I was thinking about an aluminum box to keep, but would it just the heat or cold more intense? I do not know.For the moment I am keeping them in regular DVD / CD cases, not boxes you buy in, but the briefcase nylon-like fabric to wear bags.
What is the best way in these conditions?

Indeed, a change of temperature 20-25 degrees is not that bad, even if you're talking Celsius. But if you want to ensure that changes are slow and even put your discs in one of those insulated coolers. The insulation prevents rapid temperature changes to your disks. From cousre, no ice should be added:). The cooler does not care, insulation work to keep the temperature inside as consistently as possible. You can get any size suited to your needs and adding more as you add disks.

The Pavilion's 15.6-inch display has a resolution of 1,366 by 768, which is typical for a budget notebook of this size. You'll have to spend considerably more money on a model such as the Dell XPS 15z to get full HD at 1,920 by 1,080 on a panel of this size. That said, the display is bright and delivers good 720p imagery. The full-size keyboard has a number pad and evenly spaced chiclet-style keys. Typing is comfortable, with plenty of room to stretch out. The touchpad, framed by a thin slice of backlit trim, supports multigesture control and has two responsive mouse buttons. The bottom-right side of the metal-clad keyboard deck holds a fingerprint reader, and there's a power button and a Web browser hotkey above the keyboard to the left.

As was the case with the HP Pavilion dv6-6033cl we reviewed back in April, the dv6-6135dx is a Beats Audio model, sporting an angled silver speaker bar above the keyboard as well as two additional speakers mounted in the base. Although audio quality is noticeably fuller than on the average notebook, it still lacks bass. I/O options include two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and VGA video outputs, and an Ethernet connection. There are two headphone jacks so you can share tunes and movie soundtracks, a microphone jack, and an HP TrueVision HD webcam. There's also a multiformat card reader mounted on the front edge of the chassis.
