Is there a recording of Thelonious Monk with Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian?
I read an article in a magazine a few years ago (it may have been Downbeat), which had a story about Paul Motian. In the article he said that he and Scott LaFaro played a few gigs with Thelonious Monk. I was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this, and if so, recordings (bootlegs) exist?
Monk is certainly a little different than Evans haha .... if you find the answer to this let me know ... it would be foolish.
