RIVERSIDE: Oh, baby, they love Frampton at Fox
By Fielding Buck
Inland fans of Peter Frampton got want they wanted from his Wednesday night: to show them the way back to 1976.
The 61-year-old English rocker brought his "Frampton Comes Alive" 35th anniversary tour (FCA!35) to the packed Fox Performing Arts Center.
"Frampton Comes Alive" was a double-LP gatefold album that has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States, according to the Recording Association of America. It was released in 1976, when he had the second nicest hair in the country (Farrah Fawcett's poster came out in that year).
Frampton and his four band mates recreated the album in the first half of the concert, interspersed with jokes about the passage of time, such as this one after performing "Do You Feel like We Do" with his talk box. He described what it was like to do the song in the 1970s.

Hello neighbors! On this posting I `ll be posting music policy (or the music that influenced country music mother) Omnium Gatherum my 78` s LP `s and 45` s. Most of what I `ll have to be here until about 1900 in the 1950` s or more. I `ll try to use Baloney not currently available to buy. All the artists I `ll be posting recorded before 1950, but some records may have been made later than 1950. I envy you all that I derive pleasure `ll be put one here! Now ---- Just about George Pegram (banjo) and Walter "Red" Parham (harmonica).I remember very little about George Pegram than to say that I have faith, it was an invention of ethnicity Close old habits Trouper & music collectors, the vast Bascom Lamar Lunsford (which I `ll be posting some facts of the day). I know almost nothing about Walter "Red" Parham. I think this LP was probably recorded in the crucial mid-60 `s, these men may be alive, I do not understand it unless they are well.So --- since I don `t identify precisely nothing about these people, I` ll Honorable reproduce a message of generosity out of the front LP ----- "George Pegram matching Grove, North Carolina, and Walter Parham Leicester, North Carolina, played and sung together for many years. They come together and with other instrumentalists, performing dances healthy throughout western North Carolina, and celebs are annual Bascom Lamar Lunsford `s Mountain Tribe Music and Social gala days held each year in Asheville, North Carolina, during the first week of August. When you do not, Pegram and Parham trade that the workmen of land and handymen. As a chaperone for the banjo in this album, Walter "Red" Parham plays the harmonica, a mechanism unwritten whose music is a melodic mixture of both black and Caucasian people songs. In combination with the banjo, it brings to mind the displacement of many familiar sounds heard in backyards and on porches for return of populations in the southern mountains. "
George Pegram was born in Guilford County (Greensboro hamlet main), NC, but grew up in Statesville. If I recemember correctly, he died of cancer somewhere in the mid-1970s. There was no doubt due to the compatibility Grove & Galax in the 60 free (and boy could that man Stay out! J) to about 1973 or 4. Before ClawHammer became the accepted mode plain-old banjo interval, stimulating self-taught style of banjo as his fingerpicking was what you consider many old timers at fiddlers conventions. Search over that kind of play.
