I just received the Squier vintage modified jazz bass and I know there are 2 volume knobs and one tone knob, but those who are and what is the difference between the 2 volume buttons?
Button-1 (nearest the neck) volume controls for neck position

-3rd button (closest to the bottom) is the tone master control for both
