How does a Gibson Les Paul compare to the knockoff Les Pauls?
I think I want to save my money and get a Gibson Les Paul instead go out and get a Les Paul knockoff, like a Jay Turser or Epiphone. I think I'll never be happy unless it's the real thing. And also, I think a true Gibson would hold its value over the years. But my question is: how a knockoff compare to a real Les Paul? I am an intermediate player, I'm not in a band or anything like that its not a good sound cheap. Any input?
Well, Gibson is obviously more comfortable, but the cost difference I would get the Epiphone.
