I want to learn to play classical guitar. Does anyone recommend a good acoustic classical guitar for a beginner?
I'm not playing the guitar rock and pop music, but maybe some jazz.
It can not be too expensive because that's when I'm not practicing my main instrument, I practice a lot.
I know I still need to take lessons to learn techniques.
You should be able to find quality guitars at a price equal to www.MusiciansFriend.com. I bought things from them before and I find them very reasonable with their prices. However, despite their large price they carry high quality items. Good luck!

CASTLE HILL born and raised Simon Powis has come a long way since his days of electric guitar gigs at Baulkham Hills High School.
The New York Based artist recently returned to Sydney after being selected as a finalist for The Music Council of Australia and Freedman Fellowship.
Nominations for the fellowship were by invitation only with distinguished members of the classic music community around Australia invited to nominate a total of 12 musicians, representing the cream of Australia’s young classical musicians.
Although he didn’t win the $15,000 prize, Mr Powis said he was “flattered to have been nominated.”
Mr Powis was nominated by critically esteemed Australian classical guitarist Karin Schaupp.
Mr Powis had to submit works for judgment and was selected into the top four at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Mr Powis was 11 when he first picked up a guitar.
He said, “my dad had this old Fijian guitar which was stored away in a cupboard,” so he started playing it. Then At 15 the Baulkham Hills High Schools student switched from his electrically charged local gigs to classical music and he hasn’t looked back.
